Ruokinnalla käy yli -30 asteen pakkasesta huolimatta kova vipinä tammikuun puolivälissä 2006. Monta kertaa päivässä huomaan pysähtyväni seuraamaan aina yhtä kiehtovaa näytelmää, jonka pääosissa ovat talitiaiset, pikkuvarpuset, keltasirkut, närhet ja harvinaiset talvehtimaan jääneet peipot.
Kuvaan lintuja lähes päivittäin ja tältä sivulta voit löytää monia tuttuja talvilintuja. Käytössäni on Canon EOS 350D digijärjestelmäkamera, Sigma 70-300 mm DG APO -objektiivi. Olen ottanut myös muutamia kuvia digiscoping-systeemillä Kamakuran kaukoputken läpi.
Jatkossa kuvia tulee varmaan paljon muistakin aiheista.

On this site You can find my bird photos taken on our own home yard in Tohmajärvi, Finland, and on birding tours in the surroundings.
I got a new digital SRL-camera and some telezoom lenses just in January 2006. Then I started immeatedly photographing birds on our winter feeding place during the cold winter days, when temperature can be lover than -30 oC degrees outdoors.
Many of the photos have been taken straight through the window, which makes them softer than usually. But does it matter? I like them just this way and hope You will enjoy looking at them, too.
I don't know yet, how this site will be developed on but You'll find out it by visiting here on regular basis...
